Opinion text

GUIDRY, J., dissents and assigns reasons. hi respectfully dissent and would affirm the court of appeal’s judgment. There is a long and complex history between the les-, sors and the lessees, and, as the' majority points out, the lease is the law between the parties. Thus, when examining the facts of this case, giving full effect to Paragraph 27 of the lease with regard to providing a “reasonable time” to cure a default, the court of appeal, at the end of the day, did not err in concluding the lessors failed to properly place the lessees in default by providing adequate written notice of the default specifically affording the lessor a cure period.
