O
n Supervisory Writ to the 40th Judicial District Court,
Parish of St. John the Baptist
PER CURIAM:
Writ granted. The court of appeal correctly determined that venue is in the
Fifteenth Judicial District Court. In the interests of judicial economy, we grant the
application and transfer the matter to the Fifteenth Judicial District Court, where
Judge Snowdy is assigned as a judge ad hoc to preside over the matter entitled
“State of Louisiana vs. Glynn Juniors” pursuant to the order dated January 11,
2007.
We further order the trial court to conduct an in camera inspection of the
sealed records, which are the subject of the applicant’s motion. To ensure an
adequate record for appellate review, the trial court is ordered to conduct a
contradictory hearing on applicant’s motion to obtain sealed records, and thereafter
issue a written ruling and reasons for the ruling.
