SUPREME COURT OF LOUISIANA
No. 2022-C-01014
IN RE: JUDICIAL COMMITMENT OF M.M.
(EDWARD BROSSETTE CONTEMPT PROCEEDING)
On Writ of Certiorari to the Court of Appeal, Second Circuit, Parish of Caddo
PERCURIAM
The parties, the attorneys, and the retired judge initiating the contempt
proceedings have given the tiial judge an unenviable task, which she has handled
commendably. However, on the facts before us, there is insufficient evidence to find
applicant guilty of contempt of court. The rulings of the lower courts are therefore
reversed and the finding of contempt of court is vacated.
REVERSED. JUDGMENT OF CONTEMPT VACATED.
