SUPREME COURT OF LOUISIANA
No. 2025-KK-00040
STATE OF LOUISIANA
VS.
CHRISTOPHER EDWARD BROWN
On Supervisory Writ to the 22nd Judicial District Court, Parish of St. Tammany
PER CURIAM.
The defendant has not demonstrated exceptional circumstance s or a
peculiarly distinctive reason why fundamental fairness dictates discovery of the
witness’s contact information. See State v. Harper, 10-0356 (La. 11/30/10), 53 So.
3d 1263. The trial court erred in ordering the State to produce that information. The
judgment of the trial court is reversed and the matter is remanded for further
proceedings.
