STATE OF LOUISIANA NO. 2026 KW 0801
VERSUS
LACAL LUCKY WILSON SEPTEMBER 18, 2026
In Re: Lacal Lucky Wilson, applying for supervisory writs, 22nd
Judicial District Court, Parish of St. Tammany, Nos.
374567, 193586, Divison J.
BEFORE: PENZATO, LANIER, AND FIELDS, JJ.
WRIT DENIED. This court is limited to review of the district
court' s rulings or the failure of the district court to act on a
properly filed motion or pleading. This writ application appears
to be a motion to correct an illegal sentence and a motion to
recuse the judge filed with this court in the first instance.
Because there is no indication these motions were filed in the
district court, this writ presents nothing for this court to
review. Relator must first seek relief in the district court
before seeking review with this court.
