ON WRIT OF CERTIORARI TO THE COURT OF APPEAL, FOURTH CIRCUIT, PARISH OF ST. TAMMANY CRICHTON, J., would grant in part and assigns reasons: hi would grant in part this writ application to address the defendant’s claim that, under the particular circumstances of this case, his 20-year sentence for a simple rape conviction is excessive. See State v. Dorthey, 623 So.2d 1276 (La. 1993).
