State v. Bodie
State v. Bodie, 483 So. 2d 1010 (La. 1986).
Opinion text
LEMMON, J., concurs. The error in allowing the district attorney to cross-examine relator about a prior conviction denied by him, without first establishing authenticity of conviction out of the presence of the jury, is harmless beyond a reasonable doubt in this case because of defendant’s admission to five other convictions. CALOGERO, J., would grant the writ.
