SCHOTT, Judge, dissenting: I would grant the writ and grant a preliminary injunction against the seizure and sale of relator’s property. I cannot interpret Act 786 of 1979 to require the surety to pay the amount of the bond at this point when the fugitive defendants have long been apprehended and brought to justice. The purpose of the bond was accomplished *593 and the surety was no longer obligated to the state.
